If you cannot make the sale hours, you can drop off your order at the Parish
Administrative Center by Wednesday at 5:00 PM. The order will be filled Thursday
morning for you to pick up anytime after Thursday at noon. Thank you for everyone
who has supported our program. You have made it a great success.

What is SAVE?

SAVE is short for St. Alexander Venture for Education.  How does it work to benefit you and St. Alexander Parish?  
We are able to buy gift certificates from various merchants and retailers at a discount.  We then sell them to you for
their full face value, generating a profit that we split 50%/50% with you. We apply your share as a credit towards
your tuition bill or religious education fee. The remaining profit is a source of fundraising revenue for the Parish. So,
it is possible to generate hundreds of dollars in tuition savings for you and help raise funds for the Parish at the same
time by using the program for all your shopping needs. Not only can you use SAVE for St. Alexander School tuition or
religious education, but for any private school or university such as University of Illinois, Marist High School or even a
preschool.

There are three ways to order SAVE certificates:

1. Stop by the SAVE office located in the Fund Raising Room on Thursdays (during the School Year) from 2:00 to
3:00 p.m. and all year on Sundays from 9:15 a.m. until noon.

Volunteers are available to fill your order during these hours. Please consider volunteering. We have a large
inventory and most gift certificates are readily available. Please complete your order form, available at the SAVE
Sales office, and have a check/cash for payment.

2. After completing and returning the Disclaimer Form enclosed in this packet, send your order to School with your
child. We will fill your order and deliver it to your child's room Thursday or Friday of the same week. Religious
Education students will receive their orders on Monday of the following week.

3. Or, you may stop by the Parish Business Office during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, to pick up
an Order Form and Return Envelope. All orders received by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday will be ready for pick-up at the
Parish Business Office Friday after 9:00 a.m.

Occasionally, we are out of stock for a particular gift certificate. We will promptly order that gift certificate for you
and, if there is a Disclaimer Form on file, we will deliver it to your child's room, usually a week later.  Or if you do
not have a Disclaimer Form on file or, if you mark the "HOLD" box on your SAVE order form, we will hold your
backorder in the SAVE File Safe.

Tuition credits for School Families are given twice a year on January 1 and May 1.
Religious Education Families receive their tuition credits at the time of registration.
Other school families receive credit twice a year in December and June.
